After remarkable results in last time, the monitoring river group in Giap Trung commune, Bac Me district, Ha Giang province continues to deploy activities which help to manage better water resources in local.
With six key members from Na Bo and Bo Loa hamlets, the group basically accomplished the action plan for 2016 with the main content is regularly monitoring landslide areas along Na Bo stream and roads in Giap Trung commune.
In April, 2016, twelve landslide spots and an area which is at risk of flash flood were located. The group will base on this information to build landslide map for local in following months. This activity plays an important part in supporting the disaster prevention in Giap Trung commune in particular and Bac Me district in general.
