Sharing results local knowledge research in Tra Vinh
In 2018, WARECOD will continue to develop local knowledge research programs applying the Thaibaan method in the Mekong Delta.
On 25/1/2018, a sharing program on local knowledge research results related to local water resources use and management was held in Dong Hai commune, Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province. A large number of officials, Party members and people in Dong Hai commune participated and contributed their ideas to the activities facilitated by WARECOD and the local research team. In the meeting, many photos and stories about everyday life related to water resources were displayed, which received much attention and encouragement from all participants.
In the coming time, the local knowledge research team will continue to carry out awareness raising for local people on the protection of natural resources and environment. In addition, an environmental monitoring group will be set up, with the function of exchanging and providing information to relevant agencies on environmental issues and local environmental incidents.
